The following video isn't really about an IELTS topic; I just think it's interesting. You'll see the boss of Apple introducing the first iPod in 2001. At the time nobody knew what an iPod was, and now almost everyone has one! This is also a great example of how to do a presentation.
Listen and fill the gaps below:
- Music is a part of ______ life.
- It’s a very large ______ market.
- It knows no ______.
- In this whole digital ______ there is no market leader.
- No one has found the ______ yet.
- People trust the Apple ______.
- This is a ______ leap.
- It holds your ______ music library.
- Your whole music library ______ in your pocket.
- It’s an amazing little ______.
If you can't see the video, listen to the recording below:

Hi Felora,
"the converse can also be true" is a good phrase. You could use "the opposite" but NOT "in opposite".
Also, don't forget to write "have A positive effect on".
All the best

Hi Simon,
Can i use the phrase "quantum leap" in this sentence: "That the higher positions the female get in companies is a quantum leap in women's equality"
Thank you very much for your help.
Your exercise is very useful to us.

Hi UT,
It's not wrong, but I probably wouldn't use it in that case. 'Quantum leap' is a very extreme expression - maybe you could say that it was a quantum leap for equality when women were first able to vote.
