part 3

Dear All,
Here are my sample answers and hope these can give you some ideas:

-------------------------------------------

1) I watch TV practically every day, especially while having dinner and after finishing the meal. I think this is a great way for me to relax after a long day at work.

2) I think TV programs in the past used to be very simple and somehow rough. Cartoons for example, they used to be in 2D and everything looked very plain; but now most cartoon series and movies are created with sophisticated computer programs that make them look very real. Another example is the news. In the past, it was kind of difficult to get a good quality live coverage, but now, thanks to the Internet and satellite technologies, we can get high definition video and audio quality without delays from most news broadcasters.

3) Comments area: http://ielts-simon.com/ielts-help-and-english-pr/2012/09/ielts-speaking-part-2-tv-channel.html

4) CNN is my preferred news channel and website because I can get local news as well as international news. I think CNN is very reliable and it is constantly updated with the latest in news. Another reason why I like CNN is that the news reports are unbiased and they give room for the audience to have their own opinions.

5) Yes, I think the government should start controlling what TV programs are showing these days. I mean, if you take a closer look at the contents, you may notice that there are many things that are inappropriate for children or teenagers. For instance, in popular TV series such as FRIENDS or Everybody Loves Raymond, one can expect explicit language or images that could be offensive and not suitable to the minds of the young audience. So, if governments could somehow control or filter the contents of TV programs or movies, I think our society would eventually become healthier and be able to focus on more important issues such as the economy and the environment.

Have a nice weekend everybody!

Martin

Thank you Martin for such e good answers for the above questions. Keep posting, please.

Hi All,
These are the answers I prepared, Hope using this something can gain for you all. I really appreciate if you can provide a band for these answers ?

How often do you watch the TV ?

Most of the day- at least it's tuned on most of the day. I listen to it while doing other things like being on the comuter or eating. It's fairly rare that I actually sit down and devote my entire attention to the TV unless It's as especially good Film or a sports show.

How have television programmes changed since you were a child ?

TV programmes have undergone rapid change over the last decade since I was a child. Earlier there were black and white TV programs and very few channels to watch. We couldnt find much variety of the programs brodcasted. But at the moment there are very colorful tv programs we can visualize and feel them as real time events by using technology such like 3D. There are many kinds of programs , once we turn on the TV we cant think what we should watch . There would be more advancements in TV programs due to the technology improvement. It's really difficult to imagine about the future programs.

What is your favorite TV Program ?

Well first of all Im not a couch potato and TV does not play any kind of role in my life. But there is a one show I have to watch now and then , mostly I got mine from the Internet. So the name of the program is ‘Graham Notron Show’ which has been aired for I guess more than five years at least. It used to be in BBC Channel. Anyway It’s a wonderful talk show just like those successful ones in their lifes invited to show and discsuss their inside life. It normally starts by introducing the guests early background and history as well. While the conversation going discuss the life changing milestones. Throug out the show we can hear all sorts of beautiful shows. This guest can be representing any kind of area such like business , diplomatic area , literature etc. So I always found in fairly educational and obiviously we can lear lot of them from these sussces people and their uncopieable experiences. I especially enjoying it when I m feeling down, and consider this program as a way to cheer me up and get some strength. So I like I said , TV in general cant bring me pleasure, but this show is an exceptional and a true feast.

Which TV channel or channels do you prefer to watch? Why?

Watching a TV in foreign language can be useful way of improving our language skills. In my prespective it should be our starting point once we try to learn a foreign language. Because of this reason I normall intend to watch the English programs such like News , Films etc. I provide me a great confident in English Language. In fact, some TV shows contain captions of the word in the program. Reading the word along with the show can help us to improve our comprension. Because of the above mentioned reason I like to watch more and more English Programs in TV.

Do you think governments should control what TV programmes show ?

I'd like to begin by highlighting the fact that Television producres rended TV shows and movies inundated with violent and pornographic episodes, which is for the purose of making profits. Some people argue that these programs should be bammed fom bein shown in general public. I think that this notion is true and Gorvenmnet must have the rules and regulations taken place in order to prevent this kind of programs. Basically Children can imitate by watching these kind of programs and can have adverse effect on their future as well as the socity. In order to build peaceful society these progms should be banned.
