Greetings for all,
In the third I have forgotten to put plural (it must be conditions)
I have written an answer on the given topic:
Vegetarianism is not a new idea regarding diet and lifestyle, but recently the number of people supporting it, has increased considerably. They have some strong arguments on their side but there are also some good points claimed by opponents.
One of the main reason why people do not eat meat (vegetarians) or even any animal product (vegans) is of ethical nature. It is immoral to kill animal for food when there are other eating options. So many of them are suffering, treated badly in factory farms, kept in horrible conditions just because of humans’ consumption desires. Secondly, it is confirmed that a diet rich in meat, brings us harm rather than good, conversely vegetarians diet is beneficial for our health. For example, animals’ fat overloads our hearts and vessels which may lead to diseases and earlier death. Vegetables, fruits, plant carbohydrates provide us with vitamins and good nutrition. Finally, animal food production is environmentally unfriendly with the production of methane (livestock), lost land at the cost of trees and impoverishes us by exploiting water resources.
On the other hand, it is claimed that vegetarians do not eat a balanced diet. Meat replacement is expensive and very often not available. This method of pure elimination, when uncompensated, may cause anaemia or protein deficiency, especially dangerous for children. Additionally, there are arguments suggesting that it is a long lasting tradition in eating meat, and in many regions, simply, other good food resources or suitable agriculture do not exist. The last point is about our food sensation with its taste and smell. Eating is more that stomach fulfilment; it makes people happy. For instance, freshly prepared farmers’ ham , sausages or cream will always have their lovers. In fact, old habits are the most difficult to change.
In conclusion, the vegetarian idea is based on reasonable messages with the advantages in terms of the environment and animal protection and with health improvement. However, this diet should be used wisely and it would not probably be suitable for all.

This will be my response to the given task.
Vegetarianism is a diet related topic for health conscious inhabitants. This will be proven by looking at the arguements pro and against the vegetarian diet intake resources.
On the one hand, the first and most important point is to understand that why we should intake vegetarian type of food? There are rich varities of vegetarian food availabe in market. These diets are full of vitamins, monerals and carbohyradats, which are playing a key role in making the body and muscles stronger and healthier. To illustrate this, a friend of mine in India, is consuming more vegetables and because of this he is having no signs of reheumatoid disease. Thus, it is understandandable that becoming habitual of intake of more vegetarian diets in our meal is a positive sign for health and figure conscious people.
On the other hand, there are some drawbacks of including non veg meals such as beef, mutton and sea food. Eating meat in large quantity causes a deposition of fat in arteries of heart, which may increase the cholestrol level. Gaining weight because of using more fast food is also a potential danger for the population as a whole. This problem of obeisity leads to the fatal diseases like hear attack. Using more fatty diets decreases the life expectancy, no longer life will be possible for human being.

Hi Simon!
I have a question about the listening test I've just done. The direction are : complete the notes below and write no more than three words.
The sentence is: Library holds most national papers, all ________ and magazines.
I added THE LOCAL PAPERS.
In the answer sheet the coorect answer is "local papers" without the article, is the addition of "the" an error?would I get zero score in this answer?
I would clarify this point because I think that making this kind of errors could be stupid.
Thank you very much in advance
Eva
