I am confused about a simple question. I do not know how to answer the question" What is your favouite animal?".Possible answers are "My favourite animal is cat." or "My favourite animals are cats", or "My favourite animal is a cat". Both "My favorite animal is cat" or "My favorite animals are cats" are okie, but the other I don't think it is correct.
