First, sorry if you couldn't access the blog yesterday. The provider that I use had to repair all of its sites after some kind of hacking attack!
The second piece of news is more positive. My IELTS courses in Manchester are now accredited by the British Council. This means that I will be able to offer more than just my Saturday courses. I'll have more news soon.
Excellent!

Hi Simon,
Congrats for the good news. I got another one (it's more about me though), that I finished a recent IELTS take with L:7.5 R:8.5 W:7.5 S:8 Overall:8. I would not dream of achieving 7.5 in writing or 8 in speaking had I not been constantly viewing your website and absorbing all kind of useful tips to improve. I think persistence is the key to level up the grade, but one has to do it in the right way -- that is, Simon's way.
Couldn't thank you enough and I will keep recommending your website to those who are in need. Congrats again for your good news and good luck!

Congratulation,Simon!
I am having a little bit trouble with a topic:
some people think that education should help students to be useful to the whole society, other people think that education should provide students with opportunities to achieve personal ambitions
I think the first statement are not in conflict with the second one...and they sort of seem like the same thing to me. Here's some of my ideas: Education definitely help students to be useful to the society as it gives people knowledge and skills. Students, either becoming a doctor or a plumber, are useful people to the society(as long as they don't commit a crime or unwilling to work) As for personal ambitions, aren't helping students to achieve their ambitions(to be a doctor/plumber/teacher) the same as prepare them to be useful to the society?
If it's not too much trouble, could you please give me some hints on this topic? I am quite confused.
