Hi, everyone. I have some grammatical questions.

Which sentence is correct?
Three lines describing the percentage of Internet Users.
1. The percentages of Internet users in the UK and the US increased.
2. The percentage of Internet users in the UK and US increased.
(should I use the plural percentages)

3. A larger percentage of people had access to the Internet in the UK
and the US.

and the US.
(the plural question again)

but in 1990, 31 million tonnes of waste ______ ______ in that country.

Hi all,

The table provides information about the amount of waste production in six distinct countries in three different years ,which is 1980,1990 and 2000.
In 1980 US produced the highest number of waste and the amount was 131 million tonnes, while the Ireland created the lowest production at 0.6 million tonnes .On the other hand Korea produced nothing to 1980 and 1990.In 1980 Portugal recorded 2 milion tonnes and reached at 5 million tonnes in 2000.Similarly Japan produced 28 million tonnes in 1980 and it went up higher amount in 2000 at 53 million tonnes.
Unfortunately,Korea’s waste production was down in 2000 rather than 1990. Again if we see US capacity, they did tremendous great production every year and increasing rapidly each year .
Portugal created almost double in 2000 than 1980 and it was 5 million tonnes
To sum up,it can be said that from the overall table the wasted amount was increased over the 20 year-period.(Please give me band score)
