Who will take ACADEMIC IELTS exam on 5th march

i wrote your whole posting about the ielts. it is totally helpful for me. i really want to say i appreciate to you

Hi Simon, after watching your writing videos and practising your simple, yet effective writing techniques, I have finally achieved my target writing score of 7 on my second test attempt. I highly recommend the videos to all who wish to improve their writing scores.
Thank you so much :)

I owe you a big thank you Simon, I finally got the score I was after (overall 8). Your advice and support are priceless.

Congratulations Pritz and Walaa!

I'm glad my lessons helped you to get such good scores!

Hey,

I love your lessons. They're great!I'm just a bit confused. The Cambridge books do include the conclusion in their sample answers which are scored 7 or 8. So is it ok to avoid the overview and stick to a conclusion?

It's fine to put the overview at the end. But don't write "In conclusion" - it's not a conclusion, it's a summary. If you put the overview at the end, write "In summary" or "Overall it is clear that".

Hi, anyone please took the exam last week?

Hello Simon, I confused that should i write overview as the second paragraph or should i put it at the last?

ariunaa,

It's fine to put the overview at the end. But don't write "In conclusion" - it's not a conclusion, it's a summary. If you put the overview at the end, write "In summary" or "Overall it is clear that".

Hi Simon,

I really love the way you structure Writing Task 1, and think that it's very logical to put an overview paragraph immediately after the introduction. I also think that it will be easier to follow for the reader.

However, I haven't found any official source allowing to write summary paragraph after the intro.

Your reply would be highly appreciated, as I am taking IELTS exam very soon.

Hi Simon,

I am a bit confused, because, my tutor corrected me that I should be writing the overview within the introduction and that it should never be it's own paragraph unless I place it at the end of the report, otherwise, I would be marked down. How true is this? Please enlighten me, as. I am aiming for at least a 7.5 in writing.

Thank you!

Hi simon please me about task one & structure in it’s all types for example line graph, bar graph , and table etc
