Here's another popular video from the website ted.com. I found the talk quite interesting, and I'm sure there's a possible IELTS writing question in there. Can you think how they might ask you about this topic in writing task 2?

I guess they will come up with this topic question in IELTS writing task 2 like "Some people think that having more stuff in life gives you happiness while others believe that you can still be happy even with fewer things in life. Discuss both views and your opinion. "

Some people believe that owning a big house will make us happier. Others think that is better to have a smaller place to live. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Some useful phrases from the video:
*Where does this lead?
*Our happiness levels flat-lined over the same 50 years.
*It’s going to give you a little more ease in your life
*We’ve got to cut the extraneous out of our lives.
*Is that really going to make me happier? Truly?!
*We want space efficiency
*Could I do with a little life editing?
