I think answers are A and B resoectively, because Marco said he have some difficulties with investgating something in depth also dissertation is a report (result) about what someone studied in depth during postgraduate course(or Dr. dgree). I do not explain why A is answer for no.1 becasue it is clearly wrote above.

I guess the reason why they are difficult(tricky) questions is unusual words e.g overlap and the words “time” and “career” are exposed on both dialog and question. So the choices seem like an answer. I think if both of them are translated korean question, it would be difficult as foreign language.

I guess it is because of keywords repeated in both dialogue and answers but they were just trap !

1. A (because of similar kinds of words like too much time is spend in question and audio )
2. B (detailed study in question and investigate depth in audio)

1. A - "Team Management overlaps with the Introduction to Management course you took in your first year"
2. B - "because I'm keen to investigate something in depth".

The word overlap reminds me of the word repeat.

2B
I'm keen to investigate something in depth.
a broader knowledge base may be more useful to my career, but I'm really keen to do this.

hi,

Answers are :

question 1: A

It is crystal clear that these two questions are straightforward. They are not as challenging as the ones you shared before.anyway,The best way to sharpen our listening skill is to listen English on a daily basis to improve our understanding as I have learned from an Examiner.
Good Luck

1. A
